What components are included in my Gabi Go package?


Great question! Once you've received your Gabi Go package in the mail, you'll expect the following items: - Gabi Smartbox - Power Supply - Velcro Strip* - Ethernet Cable *Velcro strips are used to flawlessly attach your Gabi Smartbox to your preferred location on the Multifunction Printer (MFP)




Can I use an Amazon Alexa or Google Home device instead?


You can not as the commands are issued from Gabi Go on your mobile smartphone to the multifunction printer (MFP) using the Gabi Smartbox.




I've read up on a lot of scenarios where other voice recognition solutions eavesdrop on background conversations. Does your solution behave the same from my mobile device?


You'll be pleased to know that no, Gabi does not eavesdrop with your conversations! Gabi will only begin to listen to any background noise when the Voice microphone is enabled through your Smartphone device.




Can I use Gabi to tell the weather or find nearby businesses?


No. Gabi is utilized as both a 508 compliant and convenient solution for your multifunction printers on a voice-to-command or mobile interface.




Do I need a speaker to use Gabi Go as I would with Gabi Voice or Gov?


No. All of your commands are issues from the palm of your hands using the Gabi Go mobile app!




Can I expect updates for my Gabi software?


Yes! One of Gabi's highlights are the auto-updates you'll expect as long as the device is turned on and connected to your network.




Are these updates going to interrupt our workday flow? Should we expect the unit to be down at any given point?


Our Development & Engineering department manage all updates to be pushed outside of normal operating hours in order to prevent from any down-time with your users.




Is there a wake up word for Gabi Go?


Contrary to Gabi Voice and Gabi Gov, no wake up word is needed to work with Gabi using Gabi Go! Users have the luxury in launching their Gabi Go mobile app from their smartphone device as shown in the below screenshot.

Is Gabi GDPR regulated?


Yes!




Do I have to release updates for the Gabi Go mobile app manually?


This all depends on your device settings. If your Gabi Go app is set to accept and initiate auto-updates then no, you will not need to approve of the app updates.




Is Gabi Go available for Apple or Android devices?


Yes! Gabi Go is currently available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for download.




If no Speaker is required, how does the Voice functionality work in Gabi Go?


Voice capabilities are controlled by the touch of your fingertip while you press and hold the Voice Microphone icon within the Go app. Tip: You won't need to say, "Hey Gabi!" She'll be listening as soon as you tap the Voice icon.
